Due to its location, Monte Valentino intrigues anyone in Umbria who happens to cross the Carpina Valley between Gubbio and Città di Castello. It is a special place, atop a hill overlooking a landscape of rare beauty. It has not always been a simple rural hamlet: over the centuries it has been a protagonist and witness to the history of the valley, performing a function of defense and control of the territory as well as that of an aristocratic residence, linking its name to those of well-known families, including the Montefeltros.
Monte Valentino has been part of our personal history for many years, representing first a dream, then a challenging pastime, finally our work, our home, the place of our affections, our meetings, our projects.
